About
The Likutei Yam Institute is seeking to empower and excite Torah learners to new heights of knowledge with enthusiasm and passion by bringing the beauty , depth and variety to one's daily learning and focusing on the sugya , the topics.
We have endeavored to create a visual structure that will enhance a person's learning by creating a 2 page layout which on one side brings the essence of the sugya along with a broad base of knowledge from other places in Shas, along with a clear explanation of the text from the Rishonim and on the other bring contemporary discussions that make the sugyas as relevant as possible to our daily lives.
With our Maaseh Ovos , we have created a unique set of 26 periods in Jewish history starting from the early Tanoim to our days. We are ensuring that the history of our Chazal is accessible in a simple yet meaningful manner , whereby the reader will be able to instantly identify the period that the particular Rabbi lived in and be able to understand who were his contemporaries and waht were his lives circumstances.
Being that we are in a generation that B"H, learns the Daf Yomi , and therefore finishbMasechtos on a regular basis, we wanted to ensure that unique art of giving a Droshas Hadran is enhanced by having contemporary Rabbonim and Talmidei Chachomim write a droshas Hadran that will make Likutei Yam a destination for those seeking deeper connection to the masechtos and be able to share their knowledge and passion with others.
By making the prepared sugyas accessible we hope to ensure a higher level of learning for all.
With G-d's help we hope to create a series of multilingual Podcasts of the Sugyas and eventually translation of the Sugyas into multiple languages.
We thank you for doing our Journey and welcome your feedback and support
